Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated "as needed" Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings such as home care, memory care, acute care, and senior care. The role requires proficiency in medical documentation, dementia care, patient care, and familiarity with Cerner software.

Responsibilities:

- Provide compassionate and attentive care to patients in accordance with prescribed medical treatments
- Assist nurses and medical staff in administering treatments and procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Support patients with activities of daily living and personal care needs
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients

Skills:

- Experience in home care, memory care, acute care, or senior care settings
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices
- Proficiency in dementia care and patient support
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient well-being
- Ability to collaborate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
